My name is Daniel Gawthorpe, I go by Gorp900 online mostly, but Neon Blades is the name I use for my video game endeavours. UK based engineer with 10 years of experience in a traditional software company (MicroFocus), though I’m currently not working.
I like to play and create video games, though like most artists I continuously strive to make something meaningful, only to struggle to understand what that really means.
Making games for other people to enjoy, or to stop and just feel emotions, is my life goal. I want to make things that leave small lasting impressions on people.
I also enjoy tabletop games, megagames, and blood bowl. I’ve been helping run a blood bowl league with a collection of my friends for over a decade at this point, and most of that work is making silly videos and minigames within the game for people to interact with.
I like to make people laugh, I feel it’s important for the soul in an ever increasing hostile world.
